Welcome back Blwyddyn Dau. We hope you have had a fantastic Easter break, relaxing with family and enjoying your chocolate treats. We are now into the Summer Term and although we are not in school at present, we would like you to be carrying on with the tasks that we are setting you, as well as continuing with Hwb and Mathletics activities.
We have missed you and would like to hear about your adventures over the Easter Holidays - even if it is just that you have sat eating chocolate for two weeks! Send us your photos or videos and please use the home school books that we sent home to write about how you have kept safe and healthy.
The topic for this term will be called ‘All Creatures Great and Small’ so we will be learning about different animals, lifecycles and listening to stories including ‘Where the Wild Things Are’. We will be setting a few videos and tasks around this topic but we are also really interested in what you would like to learn about and how you might find out about certain things.
We look forward to hearing from you. Stay safe!
Mr Stirling and Mrs Sidnell
Wow Blwyddyn Dau. It has been an eventful few weeks. Even though you are at home learning with your parents, we want you to know that we are thinking of you and if there is anything you need, please contact us through Seesaw and if we can help, we would be happy to. Remember to use the home school packs, Seesaw, Mathletics and Hwb as well as keeping an eye out for extra tasks we may throw your way. You aren't having school lessons right now so it is your chance to be those ambitious, capable and independent learners that we are trying to help you become. If you want to do a little project about something you enjoy, read a book and share your thoughts or practise those little maths skills that you know you need to work on then take your chance - own it!
On another conference call - planning is very different these days!
As teachers we are really missing you and thought it would be nice if you sent some photos, so we could share them on our website and your friends can see what you have been up to. Mrs Sidnell and I will also upload a photo or two to say hi and show you what we are busy doing.
We will be keeping in touch and so we would just like to say to keep safe, stay at home and have fun.
Love from Mr Stirling and Mrs Sidnell.
Croeso i Blwyddyn Dau!
